Our Founders

The Awareness Program was founded in 1974 by Howard Bibby, shown here with his wife and business partner, Marilyn.  Mr. Bibby was also founder of the Fellowship Hall in Palm Desert, which is a Alcoholics Anonymous meeting location.  Additionally, he was influential in developing the ABC Club here in Indio.   To continue his legacy of community service, Howard’s Group (Substance abuse outpatient program) was developed in his honor.
